Is your costume the wrong size or have you ordered the incorrect item? We are happy to offer a refund or exchange within 30 days of your receipt of goods.


Party Party Costumes offers a 100% refund on returned or exchanged items, providing the below conditions are met.

Please note that the refund or exchange amount applies to the purchased product(s) only, not any shipping fees.

Due to hygiene reasons, please carefully view the below conditions:

  1. We are unable to offer exchange or refund for any item that has been worn (for hygiene reasons).
  2. Due to hygiene reasons, once the packaging for any of the following item(s) has been opened or unsealed we will be unable to offer exchange or refund:
    • Wigs
    • Beards or Moustaches
    • Earrings
    • Makeup
    • Eyelashes & Contact Lenses
    • Fangs or Novelty Teeth
    • Prosthetics
    • Tattoos
    • Pet Costumes or Accessories
    • Inflatable Items
  3. Due to Australian Health Regulations we cannot accept return of the following items, so choose carefully:
    • Undergarments
    • Stockings and Socks

We are unable to offer exchange or refund for any item that has been altered.

Any free gifts that were received with item(s) being returned for refund, must also be returned. 

If the free gift isn’t returned, Party Party Costumes reserves the right to deduct the RRP of the free gift from your refund.

Packaging for Each Individual Item

For Party Party Costumes to re-sell the item(s) that are being returned or exchanged, the packaging surrounding the items is just as important to us as the items themselves.

For this reason, we can only accept item(s) back for a return or exchange if they are sent in their original packaging.

Please include your original tax receipt with the packaging.

Delivery Packaging for Postage

Please return the item(s) packed in the original box that they arrived in, along with any original package padding to prevent damage during return postage.

If you no longer have the original boxing or package padding you may use similar packaging, but take care as you are responsible for the item returning to our warehouse in the condition you received it in.

Ensure that you cover any original delivery labels

Ensure that you keep record of the tracking number that will be supplied to you by your postage provider. Below is a link to the parcel tracker supplied by Australia Post:

Exchanges & Returns 

If you would like to exchange your item for another size or different item or even if you now have an unwanted item, you can request either of the following two options in the return/exchange form:

  1. Return the item and request an exchange for a different size or different item in the Return/Exchange Form.
    If the different item is cheaper or more expensive we will credit or charge the difference accordingly.
  2. If time is of the essence:
    Place a completely new order for the different size or item. Request a refund in the Return/Exchange Form. 

If you would simply like to return your item, request a refund via the Returns/Exchange Form.

Please note that delivery of all new items following exchange, will be subject to a delivery fee.

  • Standard - $12.95; or
  • Express - $16.95

Faulty Items

We will endeavour to replace any faulty items for you as quickly as possible, or you can request a refund.

Please send us an email with a photo of the faulty item.

If We Sent The Incorrect Size To You

In the unlikely event that we posted you an item of a different size than the item size you ordered through our website, we strongly apologise to you and will:

  1. Deliver to you a replacement item of the originally requested size via Express Post
  2. Arrange for pick-up of the incorrect item

When & How Will I Get My Refund?

Your refund will be deposited into your accounted once your returned item(s) have been received by our warehouse and the returned item(s) have been inspected and meet the conditions mentioned above under "Packaging for Each Individual Item" and "Delivery Packaging for Postage".

Our team will notify you of your refund via email within 48 hours of receiving the returned item(s).

Your refund will be paid via the same method as your original payment.

  • Direct Deposit: We will contact you for your BSB: and ACC NO: for transfer of funds.
  • Credit Card & PayPal: We will issue a credit/refund for the account that we received the original payment from.
